Gluttony Is Christian Value

First of all, it is important to understand that God really likes fat. So I suppose he likes fat people, too. (He's probably overweight himself.) All the fat is the Lord's.-- Leviticus 3:16

God makes the diligent fat. (Lazy people are always skinny.) The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.--  Proverbs 13:4

God makes liberals fat, too. (I guess religious liberals should be the fattest of all. Look at Michael Moore) The liberal soul shall be made fat. -- Proverbs 11:25

If you put your trust in God, he will make you fat. He that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. -- Proverbs 28:25

Being fat is is sure sign of righteousnous in the eyes of God. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree ... they shall be fat and flourishing. -- Psalm 92: 12-14

Break the chains of denial. You don't have to lie about how much you eat.  You are not going to convince anyone with a brain that you are not a glutton and in the eyes of God you are admired.  Gluttony is good and all the food that gluttons eat is a gift from God. Don't insult the Lord... Eat and brag about it to others.  Pig out because it is the Godly thing to do.

Grace Before Meals

"Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen." Then eat like you mean it!

Rubba dub dub, thanks for the grub YEA GOD!

In the name of the father, skip the ghost, The one who eats fastest get the most!

If the body is the Temple for the Holy Spirit then fat people are mega churches.

The Bible Belt is the Gluttony Belt!

Sadly, like it always is, the Bible contradicts gluttony being a Christian value and calls it a sin.

Philippians 3:19 - Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Proverbs 23:2 - And put a knife to thy throat, if thou [be] a man given to appetite.

Deuteronomy 21:20 - And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son [is] stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; [he is] a glutton, and a drunkard.

Psalms 78:18 - And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

Luke 7:34 - The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

  1. First let me say, let peace be yours in properly understanding what was really being said. You need to take it in context, not ripping apart verses and saying, "There, God likes fat, so He must be a fatso." Fat of the animal offering is the Lord's. I am not sure if you think it is funny (it isn't, however, I can tell you that God is a God who hears...and I will pray for you to know Him personally and in great measure, to which this page will be felt as a huge shame. There is no one more glorious, no one more loving, no one who comes so smoothly and drops like rain over a thirsty soul, there is no one more worthy, more exalted, more holy, and more lovely. Yes, you will be blessed and have better eyes to see by when, let me repeat, WHEN He gets a hold of you! Peace and grace to you!!

  3. You also need to understand that God is interested in relationship. It has nothing to do with vegetables and meat. Hosea 6:6 says, "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings." It has everything to do with the heart condition. Do you have a teachable heart or a stony heart? Abel pleased the Lord because of the stance of his heart, Cain was not likewise. Gluttony is a sin, and you may say, "praise the Lord," but your heart is far from Him. You would be wise to get that checked out, because no one is guaranteed another day, and if you are not right with God before your death, the chances of spending eternity with Him in Heaven is slim to none. A very smart pastor said, "Get right (with God) or get left (behind).

  4. We worship the Belly God because the Belly God is good. Bible God and Satan are one and the same. It is clear that you are a nice person but your god is a bad guy and the Bible proves it. God is using you.

Old Testament God is evil, and Satan itself is not a separate being, but is actually part of God, a face of God. There is one occasion when David took a census of his men in order to count how many could fight in the armies of Israel. 1 Chronicles 21:2 and 2 Samuel 24:2 both contain a copy of the exact same text:
So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, "Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. Then report back to me so that I may know how many there are."”

1 Chronicles 21:2“So the king said to Joab and the army commanders with him, "Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and enroll the fighting men, so that I may know how many there are."”

2 Samuel 24:2 So the king said to Joab and the army commanders with him, "Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and enroll the fighting men, so that I may know how many there are."

Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel”1 Chronicles 21:1

The anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, "Go and take a census of Israel and Judah."”
    2 Samuel 24:1

A similar confusion of roles happens in the Book of Job. In Job 1:8-12 Satan approaches God and asks to test Job's loyalty to God. In Job 1:11 it is God who is asked "put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face". Satan's idea is that if God demolishes Job's good life, then Job will no longer be faithful to God. But Satan can't do this itself as it is God that has the power to do evil. In the next verse Godgives that power to Satan:

“And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand.”

    Job 1:12 [KJV]

So, Satan acts only when God gives it power to do so. Once again, we see that God and Satan are merely two facets of the same being. One final verse seals this idea. Who, when it comes to the concluding of the story in chapter 42, is given the credit for bringing evil against Job? It is God itself:
