The Harvoni Scam

The chairman of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee Jeff Miller has accused the makers of hepatitis C drug Harvoni sofosbuvir of opportunism and price-gouging for charging the U.S. government up to $68,000 for a treatment regimen that costs about $1,400 to manufacture.
In an op-ed published Wednesday on CNN.com, Florida Republican Rep. Jeff Miller condemned California-based Gilead Sciences Inc. for “picking and choosing” its pricing by customer or geographic area.
According to Miller, Gilead charges $900 in Egypt for the 12-week curative treatment but charges the Veterans Affairs Department between $40,000 and $68,000, depending on which of Gilead's treatments containing sofosbuvir — either Sovaldi or Harvoni — is used.
The irony, Miller adds, is that the man who led the scientific team that created sofosbuvir, Raymond Schinazi, is a senior research career scientist who has worked for the VA since the late 1980s.

Michele Rest needs to be at the end of a noose!

Gilead spokeswhore Michele Rest defended the price and the company's billing structure in an email to Military Times last year. The cunt said, "the price reflects the value of the medicine."
No you fucking cunt. The price reflects what a depraved whore like you will do for money and in this case it is blood money.
Forget the Muslims, cunts like Michele Rest are the real terrorists.

Cure For Hepatitis C

The last disease that the criminal medical industry cured was polio and polio was not cured cured by the medical industry as we know it. Jonas Salk created the polio vaccine and unlike today's vaccines it was safe and effective.

The cure for Hepatitis C is a drug concoction called Harvoni. I was shocked when I saw the commercials that the criminal medical industry has actually released a cure for a major disease. Normally the medical industry slime will exploit/manage a disease for a steady stream of obscene profits from their suffering paitients/medical consumers who they regard as cash vending machines. I thought that perhaps that maybe someone in the pharmaceutical industry actually developed a conscience but that would be a miracle. The I thought that maybe some of the big pharma slime was being blackmailed or threatened into do the moral thing but I was wrong.

Harvoni is a blend of two existing anti viral drugs. It contains 90 mg of ledispasvir and 400 mg of sofosbuvir, The clinical trials showed a 96% cure rate. That may or may not be true. Big pharma tells a lot of lies.

The treatment regime that leads to a cure is 12 to 24 weeks of daily Harvoni pills.

Gilead Sciences the criminals who sell Harvoni charge $1,125 per pill, or $94,500for a 12-weeks of treatment Other new medications are nearly as pricey. Insurers are scrambling to figure out how to
pay for treatment without breaking the bank. Many say they will only cover costly therapies for the
sickest patients.

The scum at Gilead justify their cruel price gouging by saying that $94,500 to $189,000 costs less than a liver transplant.

Related: In March 2015, Gilead Sciences e-mailed warnings to health care providers about nine patients that began taking its hepatitis C drugs Harvoni (ledipasvir/sofosbuvir) or Sovaldi (sofosbuvir) along with the heart treatments amiodaroneBristol-Myers Squibb'sdaclatasvir, or Johnson & Johnson's simeprevir developed abnormally slow heartbeats and one died of cardiac arrest. Three required a pacemaker to be inserted. Gilead said the combinations aren't recommended and product labels will be updated
