Scott Ackerman, Chief Executive Officer
Scott Ackerman is the CEO of TuneCore and serves on its Board of Directors. Scott joined TuneCore in 2010 as the Senior Vice President of Customer Care and that same year he became the Chief Operating Officer. In 2012, he was promoted to the position of President, then in 2014 he became CEO. Under Scott’s leadership, TuneCore has launched initiatives to ensure TuneCore Artists can access the most advanced processes and technologies in music distribution and music publishing administration. Scott oversaw the growth in digital store partnerships and started the Artist Services marketplace as well as an Innovation Lab with a focus on product development. During Scott’s tenure, TuneCore has also opened new offices in Nashville and Boston and launched TuneCore Japan and TuneCore Canada.
Scott developed TuneCore’s Customer Care into a world-class service department. It’s a skill he honed as VP of Customer Service at eHarmony, where his department was recognised with the American Business Association “Stevie Award” for Customer Service Department of the Year 2009. Prior to joining eHarmony, Scott served as VP for Customer Care and Call Centers for Cendant, where he developed and managed operations for brands like Orbitz, which under Scott’s guidance was ranked No. 1 in online customer experience. Other past executive operations positions include work at American Airlines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways. Scott holds a J.D. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University and a B.A. in business communications from Pepperdine University.

Matt Barrington, Vice President of Finance
Matt joined TuneCore in 2010 from TBWA (an Omnicom company) where he served as Financial Systems Manager and developed and implemented the strategic plan for TBWA’s North America Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. Prior to joining TBWA, he held a similar position with Agency.com, who was the industry leader in interactive marketing.
Matt started his financial career with Guy Carpenter & Co. (a Marsh & McLennan Company) as an Accountant. Over his nine-year tenure, he took on increasingly complex projects and responsibilities, culminating in his role as an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Finance department. Matt holds a double MBA in Financial Management and Information Systems from Pace University and a BS degree in Business Communications & Management from Adelphi University.

Troy Denkinger, Vice President of Engineering
Troy comes to TuneCore with over 20 years in the software development field. His experience spans architecting new systems based on identified needs, building complex systems, and quickly bringing systems into production in a high-demand environment.
Troy has spent 14+ years of his professional career in the digital music space, having previously worked at TotalMusic, IODA, and AOL Music Now. Most recently, Troy was Vice President of Engineering at relentlessGENERATOR, a division of Sony DADC New Media Solutions. Troy has led large software engineering teams in the successful implementation of several business-critical initiatives. While at Total Music, Troy led the build for the “cloud” that provided a set of APIs so that developers could access music metadata, socially created content (such as playlists, ratings, reviews), and streams; and had total responsibility for all backend music and data processing systems while at IODA.
Troy is a Certified Scrum Master and holds a BA from the University of Northern Iowa.

Kedar Frederic, Vice President of Business Development
Kedar comes to TuneCore through the acquisition of DropKloud and is co-founder of HardHill Media. Kedar is a creative force with 10+ years experience in music management production and songwriting. He has written over 300 songs, co-managed independent artists, and run a recording studio to help independent artists hone their craft. Kedar founded a promotional company while working for Show-Off records under DJ Statik Selektah (now of Shade 45) and worked with major and independent labels from Landspeed to Def Jam running street teams and guerrilla marketing tactics.
Kedar also honed his product promotion skills during 5 years as VP of Sales for a custom candy manufacturer helping to grow the business to millions in revenue with key accounts including Starbucks, Macy’s, and 7-Eleven. He holds a BA from Bridgewater State College.
Andreea Gleeson, Vice President of Marketing
As the Vice President of Marketing, Andreea leads TuneCore’s global multi-channel marketing initiatives, focusing on growth and retention. In her role, Andreea oversees all areas of marketing, including branding, creative, paid media, content, social media, and analytics. Previous to joining TuneCore, Andreea had a successful 11-year career at Lord & Taylor, most recently serving as Divisional Vice President of Marketing where she led the omni-channel marketing strategy for the entire department store chain. During her time at Lord & Taylor and its sister store, Hudson’s Bay Company, Andreea also held multiple leadership roles within the eCommerce team, where she drove the digital strategy and grew the Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay sites from the ground up, surpassing the volumes of the flagship stores for both chains. Andreea graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Marketing from the Lubin School of Business.
Shelby Kennedy, Vice President of Entertainment Relations
Shelby brings to TuneCore a 25-year history of wide-ranging experience across management, publishing, production, songwriting and performance functions as well as extensive relationships throughout the music and entertainment community.
The son of legendary guitarist Jerry Kennedy, Shelby was born into the Nashville music scene. Prior to joining TuneCore, Shelby has held diverse roles with companies including ASCAP, BMI, Lyric Street Records, Wide Open Music Group and Cherry Heart Music and Entertainment and ran his own company, Porch Pickin’ Publishing, for the past 18 years. Shelby holds a BBA in Music Business from Belmont University.
Gillian Morris, Vice President of Publishing
Gillian is the Vice President of Publishing for TuneCore. She comes to TuneCore with wide-ranging experience gained from both the recorded music and music publishing businesses. Most recently, Gillian headed up the North American Creative, Business Affairs and Operations Departments for Blue Mountain Music Publishing. Prior to Blue Mountain, Gillian created and oversaw the Publishing division and the Film & TV licensing and soundtrack album businesses for Wind-Up Entertainment. She has also served as music supervisor on multiple independent films and led the Film & TV Music Department for Clive Davis’ Arista Records in Los Angeles. Gillian holds a B.A from Middlebury College.
Marie-Anne Robert, Vice President of International
Marie-Anne brings more than 12 years of experience in the international music industry to her role as Vice President of International. Marie-Anne began her career with EMI Music, quickly ascending to the position of Senior Project Manager, before spending the next seven years with Believe Digital, TuneCore’s parent company. At Believe Digital, Marie-Anne occupied several positions, including Head of Marketing, Head of Zimbalam Product, and Head of Video France and MENA, offering her a deep understanding of the independent, international, and digital music business. Marie-Anne graduated from Edhec Business School and Loyola Marymount University.
Camille Moussard, Director of Video
Camille comes to TuneCore with an extensive business and musician background. She has been deeply involved in the digital music industry since graduating with a BA degree from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. A YouTube strategist, Camille worked at Octoly, a Paris-based start-up, where she drafted and executed YouTube audience development and copyright management strategies for European media groups and for building targeted advertising packaging on YouTube. Prior to Octoly, Camille worked in the ContentID team at The Orchard in New York, where she implemented and claimed copyright for their customers. Camille also served as Country Manager at Yala Music, an online music service for Middle East, and articles covering her work were featured on Hypebot and Arabnet.

Andrew Migdail, Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Andrew oversees TuneCore’s customer care and copyright teams, manages legal and human resources matters, and is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s partnerships with digital music distribution stores. Prior to joining TuneCore in 2012 as Director of Legal Administration, Andrew developed a wealth of knowledge in various facets of the entertainment industry, serving as a paralegal at Sloss Eckhouse LawCo LLP in New York, where he primarily worked with independent filmmakers and musicians, and as an assistant at William Morris Endeavor in Los Angeles. Andrew holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
