The Lesser of Two Evils
People say and believe a lot of stupid things because they sound clever. Some people don't register to vote because they say that the lesser of two evils is still evil. Some truisms may actually be true but they sure can be stupid. Simple minded people rarely think things through.
When there is less evil in congress there is less evil in congress and less Republicans mean less evil.
