On May 14, Alberta-born Sen. Ted Cruz renounced his Canadian dual citizenship. The renunciation became official roughly 9 months after he feigned not knowing he wasn’t only an American. Cruz has known all along that he is not eligible to run for president and the only reason he's running is to pocket campaign money.
