There was another asshole who thought he knew more than his generals. He didn't and the citizens of Germany paid dearly. Trump will fire generals who tell him the truth and don't kiss his ass. Trump and Hitler are very similar in their mental illnesses.
There were at least 40 assassination attempts on Hitler's life. Sadly they all failed. What didn't fail was the millions of executions of Nazis. It turns out that during the occupation, Supreme Allied Commander General Dwight David Eisenhower had the good sense to kill off nearly 2 million Nazis.
