The suspect was identified as Kenneth Curtis of Tupelo, Miss.  


According to the FBI bulletin, both letters, postmarked April 8, 2013 out of Memphis, Tenn., included an identical phrase, "to see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance."

In addition, both letters are signed: "I am KC and I approve this message."

Some threatening letters simply contain ground Castor beans, resulting in a positive field test for ricin without the concentrated poison. Results from full laboratory tests are expected in the next 24 to 48 hours.

The perpetrator or perpetrators in these cases was either trying to send a message or is stupid.  They are stupid because since 911 and the anthrax attacks mail is screened.

Footage from Lord & Taylor, on the same Boylston Street block torn apart by blasts Monday, led investigators to a man believed to have planted the second bomb, according to the network.

Federal officials denied there had been any arrests yet in connection to Monday’s bombings.

The Associated Press, earlier today, quoted a law enforcement saying a suspect was in custody. CNN, citing Boston and federal sources, reported a suspect had been arrested.

But the FBI and federal prosecutors in Boston insisted no suspect had been taken into custody.

A Boston law enforcement source told CNN, "We got him," but wouldn't clarify whether that meant a suspect has been identified or arrested. Some federal sources said it was even too early to say investigators had identified the suspect, but several sources in Boston told CNN that they have a clear identification.

Senate defeats gun background check proposal

(CNN) – In a major defeat for supporters of tougher gun laws, the Senate on Wednesday defeated a compromise proposal to expand background checks on firearms sales.

The bipartisan compromise was championed by Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. and Pat Toomey, R-Pa., and backed by President Barack Obama in his push for a package of gun laws in the aftermath of the Newtown school massacre.

"On this vote, the yays are 54, the nays are 46. Under the previous order requiring 60 votes for the adoption of this amendment, the amendment is not agreed to," said Vice President Joe Biden, who presided over the vote in his role as president of the Senate.

I, Fat Bastard,  am a strong supporter of gun rights but clearly this bi-partisan gun safety legislation was reasonable and was supported by 90% of Americans. Would it have stopped all gun violence? No. Would it have prevented some gun deaths by making it tougher for criminal and crazy people get guns? Probably. 

Crazy people should not have guns and neither should violent criminals. This would have required  background checks at gun shows and for private sales. 

This cowardly act by the Senate Republicans is a slap in the face to all the victims of gun violence.

The NRA is not about protecting the First Amendment. The NRA is about selling guns.  The NRA has done nothing to protect the rights of Americans to own other weapons such as knives, brass knuckles, swords, blowguns, crossbows, silencers, ninja stars, pepper spray, stun guns, nun chucks etc... Many weapons less lethal than guns are illegal in many jurisdictions and yet we don't hear a peep from the NRA and the gun fondlers.

I have been debating with myself whether to use humor when discussing this horrific event and I decided that I will but first I want to say with all sincerety that my heart goes out to all the innocent victims of this heinous act. I wish comfort to the families who lost loved ones and have had loved ones injured. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims who were injured by this senseless act of violence.

Our investigative reporter Rotunda Hindenburg was in Boston today but not to cover the marathon but for the Boston Man Cream Pie eating contest. Rotunda did some digging after digging into about 20 pies face first. Rotunda  theorized that angry fatlings were behind the bombing. They are the only ones who have a clear motive. Most people know that the Boston Marathon includes a wheelchair division. For years many fat acceptance groups have been angered by the fact that the Boston Marathon does not include a power chair division so that fat people can compete in the Boston Marathon. They consider the fact that only lean people are allowed to compete to be an act of fat phobia and a human rights violation. Rotunda believes that a radical faction within the fat acceptance movement perpetrated this act of violence.

Preliminary reports from the lame stream point to someone with a student visa running from the scene.(How would they know he had a student visa? Do people with visas run differently than people without visas?) The implication being that the perpetrator may have been a foreigner and more particularly a Muslim jihadist. We at bigger fatter politics scoff at the idea that this act was perpetrated by a Muslim or a Middle Easterner. What would their motive be? They don't hate Americans per se they hate our government and the entities who run our government. Killing innocent people would only create more condemnation for the Muslim community and Arabs in general. Rotunda has originally spoken with a conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and she is convinced that this is some sort of a false flag operation. I know he's barking mad but that doesn't mean he isn't wrong this time.

The news media is already calling this an act of terror. Was the bombing at the Atlanta Olympics an act of terror? In that case a fat man was targeted as a suspect and his life was ruined by the media and by law enforcement. That man's name was Richard Jewell and the truth is Richard Jewell was a hero because he was the security guard who discovered the bomb. Countless lives were saved because of the actions of Richard Jewell. Richard Jewell, American hero, is now deceased. It seems that no good deed goes unpunished. This little snippet of history is for you Richard and your act of heroism. Perhaps if the security forces at the Boston Marathon had your vigilance and courage these bombs could of been discovered before they detonated.

Three days later, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution revealed that the FBI was treating him as a possible suspect, based largely on a "lone bomber" criminal profile. For the next several weeks, the news media focused aggressively on him as the presumed culprit, labeling him with the ambiguous term "person of interest", sifting through his life to match a leaked "lone bomber" profile that the FBI had used. The media, to varying degrees, portrayed Jewell as a failed law enforcement officer who may have planted the bomb so he could find it and be a hero.^[2]

Two of the bombing victims filed lawsuits against Jewell on the basis of this reporting. In a reference to the Unabomber, Jay Leno called him the "Una-doofus".^[6] Other references include "Una-Bubba," ^[7] and (of his mother) "Una-Mama." Jewell was never officially charged, but the FBI searched his home, questioned his associates, investigated his background, and maintained twenty-four hour surveillance of him. The pressure only began to ease after Jewell's attorneys hired an ex-FBI agent to administer a polygraph which Jewell reportedly passed.^[2]

In October 1996, the investigating US Attorney, Kent Alexander, in an extremely unusual act, sent Jewell a letter formally clearing him, stating "based on the evidence developed to date ... Richard Jewell is not considered a target of the federal criminal investigation into the bombing on July 27, 1996, at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta"

Jewell (December 17, 1962 – August 29, 2007) was an American police officer who, while working as a security guard for Piedmont College,^[1] became known in connection with the Centennial Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Discovering a pipe bomb on the park grounds, Jewell alerted police and helped to evacuate the area before the bomb exploded, saving many people from injury or death. Initially hailed by the media as a hero, Jewell was later considered a suspect. Jewell's case is considered an example of the damage that can be done by reporting based on unreliable or incomplete information.^[2]

Despite having never being charged, he underwent a "trial by media" with great toll on his personal and professional life. Eventually he was completely exonorated; Eric Robert Rudolph was later found to have been the bomber.^[3][4] In 2006, Governor Sonny Perdue publicly thanked Jewell on behalf of the state of Georgia for saving the lives of those at the Olympics.^[5]

How far-fetched is Ms. Hindenburg's theory? Could this be another false flag operation? How can something like this benefit the cause of Muslim jihadists? Muslims may not be the sharpest knives in the drawer but even those idiots know that this will not help their cause because even most Muslims are against acts of terror.

When it comes to motive certain factions within the fat acceptance movement are more likely suspects than Muslim jihadists. If this was an act of terror by Muslims they probably would've taken credit for it by now.

Footage from the many security cameras will probably show who planted the bombs. Let's hope that this footage is given to media outlets including journalists like large and in charge Alex Jones before it is given to the authorities and possibly altered. I would not be surprised if this is indeed some sort of false flag operation. Many conspiracy theorists including Jesse Ventura leaves at 911 was a false flag operation. We know for certain at the Iranians working for the C.I.A. Operation Northwoods,  carried out terror bombings in Italy with the help of the Pentagon and CIA, lies and scare tactics about the Al Qaeda threat and the Gulf of Tonkin incident were indeed false flag operations perpetrated by the American government. Personally I think that in most instances Alex Jones is crazier than a bedbug but in many other instances a lot of what he says makes sense. Let's hope that Ms. Hindenburg is wrong and that she only told me she had a conversation with Alex Jones. Let's hope that the truth comes out about this horrific incident and let's hope nothing like this happens again anywhere.

It is also interesting that the only Congress members mailed anthrax letters were key Democrats, and that the attacks occurred one week before passage of the freedom-curtailing PATRIOT Act, which seems to have scared them and the rest of Congress into passing that act without even reading it. And though it may be a coincidence, White House staff began taking the anti-anthrax medicine before the Anthrax attacks occurred.

Even General William Odom, former director of the National Security Agency, said "By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism, yet in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation" (the audio is here).

When I told the Chef, a proud man of color, he was so thrilled that he decided to throw all this weight behind in Kuhn candidacy after I told him that Kuhn was not spelled coon.

You may recall that our Internet reporter Rotunda Hindenburg once launched blistering journalistic flabbalance on Kuhn for not hiring fat go go girls for his surf band  Voodoo Court but after reviewing concert footage we now know that fat girls would not be able to keep up with the frenetic dancing required of a surf band go go girl and even if they could the stage be doused in a huge puddle of sweat and Mark and his band mates would need breakout the skim boards and life vests. We now approve of his decision to use lean and attractive dancers and while this is not an endorsement we think that Mark Kuhn could make a splendid POTUS and the lovely Mrs Kuhn would make a  great FLOTUS.

Daniel Och, the 52-year-old chief executive of Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, is No. 2 on our billionaire payday list. His base salary? Zilch. Bonus? Nil. Och’s pay of $288.6 million last year was comprised of vested shares and other compensation.

Rounding out the top three is Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz.
The 59-year-old Brooklyn native worth $1.7 billion bought Starbucks in 1987 for $3.8 million and took it public five years later. In 2012 Schultz took home $4 million in base pay and bonus, but also realized $113.5 million from exercised stock options and vested stock awards.

Schultz wasn’t the only billionaire executive to award himself a sizable bonus.

No. 5 Ralph Lauren banked a $19.5 million bonus last year, in addition to $1.3 million in base pay and $264,023 in other compensation. The 73-year-old fashion tycoon also realized $17.8 million from exercised stock options and vested stock awards.

We collected the latest available compensation figures reported in companies proxies filed by April 5, 2013. Here are the top 5:

1. Richard Kinder 
Compensation: $1.1 billion
Net Worth: $9.8 billion

Kinder Morgan's CEO pays himself just $1 a year and he has never received a bonus, stock options or restricted stock grants. Yet he raked in $1.1 billion in 2012, making him the highest paid CEO in the U.S., due to stock gains he realized from shares he received at the time Kinder went private in 2006.

2. Daniel S. Och
Compensation: $289 million
Net worth: $2.9 bilion

The CEO of publicly traded hedge fund Och-Ziff got $288 million in vested stock.

3. Richard Kinder
Compensation: $118 million
Net worth: $1.7 billion

Starbucks chief was paid $1.5 million in salary and $2.3 billion bonus but the bulk of his compensation came from exercising $103 million worth of stock options and receiving another $10 million worth of vested shares.

4. Leslie Wexner
Compensation: $58 million
Net worth: $4.6 billion

The head of L Brands was paid $1.9 million in salary along with a bonus of $4.9 million. He added to his total compensation with $32 million in stock options and another $18.7 million in vested shares.

5. Ralph Lauren
Compensation: $39 million
Net worth: $6.9 billion

Chairman and CEO of Ralph Lauren paid himself a salary $1.2 million and $19.5 million bonus. In addition, he exercised stock options worth $5.2 million and received $12.4 million worth of vested shares.

School Bullying

Proud FA and I were school mates. There was some bullying when Proud and I were in school but not all that much. Back then kids were allowed to work out their differences and sometimes it would require some fisticuffs and when it came to throwing hands Proud FA was a animal and still is.


Not too many people would fuck with me, Fat Bastard, and nobody would fuck with Proud unless they wanted a knotty hairdo, a busted lip and a concussion. On one particular winter day Proud and I missed the bus so we has to walk home. It was a warm winter day and there was plenty of good packing snow. As luck would have it there was this fucking bully walking ahead of us. He was a new student, a jock who was not aware of Proud's fighting prowess. I, Fat Bastard am a lover not a fighter but that does not mean I don't enjoy watching a good ass kicking so I decided to start some shit with the new bully. He had called me fat ass and blubber gut and Baby Huey. I wanted to kick his ass but I was not sure I could take him. I knew Proud could even though this runt had 4 inches and 40 pounds on Proud and 40 pounds. I began tossing snow balls at this fucker and he turned around and told us to knock it off. After he turned back around I packed another slushy snowball and hit this jock in the neck. He turned and I could tell he was really pissed he was about to attack and I said sorry man I won't do it again. He said that if I did he'd kick my fat ass. About a minute later I spied a car turd. A car turd is one of those big fucking brown ice chunks that fall from cars. This car turd was the size of a large coconut. Being a fat bastard and having no impulse control I picked up that icy fucker and fired it at that mouthy dip shit and it knocked him silly. He was on the attack and not wanting to get pummeled I told him Proud threw it.

His eyes flashed with anger as he dove at Proud shouting, "you die asshole!!!!" The fight was on. For a moment he was on top of Proud but Proud quickly reversed the position and the ass kicking was on. Proud was on top and he shouted, "Fat Bastard, gloves!" With Proud sitting on this dickhead's chest he raised up his arms so that I could remove his gloves and with that Proud's famous fists of fury worked their magic and like a pitbull of percussion Proud beat out drum roll on this punk's face. Within a few seconds the blood was flying as Proud pugilistically delivered one of his legendary beat downs. His fists connected with trip hammer speed and precision. In less than 30 seconds Proud had pounded this punk into submission and semi consciousness. Then to my surprise he said, "Finish him off Fat Bastard. Do it Earthquake style."

Earthquake was our favorite WWF wrestler at the time so as this punk laid there is a daze I dropped a few Earthquake bombs on him. I cracked a few of his ribs and he missed basketball season but it was a lesson well learned. We sent a message to other bullies. That is how to put an end to school bullying. Beat the shit out of the bullies.

There are a lot of bullies today. These school bullies grow up to be cops, bosses, banktsters, doctors and corporate CEO's. If these fuckers get the shit beat out of them early enough in life they will learn not to fuck with and expliot others weaker tha them. There is no reasoning with bullies and thugs. The only thing they understand is a large dose of their own medicine that comes in the form of some do it yourself justice. It's never to late to beat the crap out of some punk.
